We are incredibly proud to announce that My Movement Medicine has been recognised with two major awards at this year’s Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals Awards:
Health Referral Specialists of the Year 2025 – London
Cardiac Rehabilitation Innovation Award 2025
This recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to delivering world-class, evidence-based exercise and health-behaviour support, especially for those recovering from cardiac events and seeking restoration of health, strength and confidence.

A milestone for our mission
Since its founding in 2023, My Movement Medicine has grown from offering specialised support for ex-cardiac patients to a vibrant community for anyone wanting to improve their health through movement, education and behavioural change. My Movement Medicine
This award highlights:
Our strong referral network (“Health Referral Specialists of the Year”) – acknowledging that we are not just a standalone service but part of a broader ecosystem of care, working in partnership with hospitals, GPs, and other health professionals.
Our innovation in cardiac rehabilitation – the “Innovation Award” signals that our approach to Phase 4 exercise, one-to-one support, group sessions and lifestyle behaviour change is being noticed at a national level.
Why this matters
For cardiac patients, rehabilitation isn’t simply about exercise — it’s about reclaiming life.
Our approach integrates:
Clinically-accredited exercise prescription (drawing on experience in cardiac rehab settings)
Behavioural education to reinforce sustainable habits
Warm-up, aerobic and cool-down structures aligned with guideline-driven intensity targets (for example targeting Borg RPE 9-13 for light-to-moderate, 12-14 for moderate).
Gold standard heart rate monitoring for each individual in the face-to-face sessions
Referral collaboration, ensuring patients are captured at the right time and supported through to community integration.
Winning these awards affirms that our model works — that we’re delivering value and being recognised for excellence.
What’s next
With this platform, My Movement Medicine will push further:
Scaling our referral partnerships: strengthening links with hospitals, GPs, and community services so that more people are referred into our Phase 4, community-based cardiac rehabilitation and exercise programmes.
Expanding innovation: continuing to refine our sessions, digital resources, heart-rate monitoring integration, remote/online access and behaviour-change tools.
Growing the community: offering our weekly group session schedule, and increasing one-to-one availability.
Sharing our story: using this award win to raise awareness of the importance of exercise-based rehabilitation and health referral services, and to position My Movement Medicine as a leader in this field.
A huge thank-you
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to:
Our referral partners for trusting us with their patients.
All our members and participants — your commitment and hard work make this possible.
Our team, supporters and collaborators.
The judges and organisers of the Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals Awards for recognising our efforts.
This is not just a win for us — it’s a win for our entire community of movement, recovery and health.
