Why Personal Training?

Furthermore if you have a long-term condition, its best to insure that your trainer has the appropriate qualifications to deal with your condition.


Qualifications to look for include:

BACPR Level 4 Exercise Practitioner

Physiotherapy degree

Exercise Physiology degree

Degrees in exercise related subjects

Any specific level 4 qualification related to your long term condition

First aid and basic life support training


With My Movement Medicine, our instructors have a combination of these qualifications, so you know that you're in safe hands.


Why our Personal Training Sessions?

During the sessions, our trainers can use your current routine and goals to create a full training programme for you and as you move forward through the programme, your progress and sessions are tracked.


Coaches are able to focus closely on your technique and form so that you know you are doing the exercises correctly and effectively. Many types of equipment can also be used to effectively work towards your specific goals.


If you are a beginner, it can be a great way to get to know the equipment and boost your confidence. If you already have experience in the gym, it can be a great way to keep motivated and try some more advanced exercises.


Where do they take place?

At the Armoury gym on Pond Street, Hampstead Heath - opposite the emergency department of the Royal Free Hospital.


Health monitoring

Full health monitoring is included in our personal training programmes using the latest blood pressure equipment and heart rate monitoring for each session.


Health screening & exercise testing

If desired, full exercise testing can be performed using a variety of methods so if youd like to know your current capabilities, mention it to your trainer and they can book you in for an exercise test.
