Service Description
A friendly, supportive group exercise session led by a Clinical Exercise Physiologist. These sessions are designed for people who have had a cardiac event, are managing long-term conditions, or simply want to improve fitness with expert guidance. Classes combine low-to-moderate cardio and strength-based circuits, with clear options to make exercises easier or harder. Heart-rate monitoring is used as a key part of the session to help you pace your effort safely and understand your personal intensity range, alongside the Borg RPE (6–20) scale and regular coach check-ins. The aim is to build confidence, consistency, and steady progress in a safe environment. What’s included: Structured warm-up, workout, and cool-down Strength + cardio circuits with adaptations Heart-rate and effort guidance during the session Regular check-ins to support safe progression Always exercise within your own limits and follow any advice from your cardiac rehab team or clinician.
