Prevention before treatment. A large percentage of money spent in health care is used to find / prescribe treatments and cures for the various conditions and diseases which are common to the general public. Many of these conditions and diseases are often preventable through simple solutions which are so often overlooked.
Once prevention is overlooked we rely on the treatments to become the solution to problems which could have been so easily prevented in the first place. Unfortunately, as these treatments are often the only solution to the problem created, they are used as money makers by companies which the public end up paying for.
The best way to change this is by swaying the demand from treatment to prevention. For that demand to be made we need a healthier public and people pro-actively seeking out preventative measures as a solution instead of relying on the treatments once the damage is done.
So if you want to live a healthier life and not end up spending a load of public / private money on supporting these treatments, one of the most effective ways to lower the risk & prevent any if these awful conditions and diseases from damaging our bodies is to exercise.
It helps everyone, little by little. Get moving!
